I just wanted to lay out some rules and information about this blog. 1. This blog is to be safe blog that girls can read. So please keep that in mind if you are going to comment etc. 2. This blog is specifically for girls (prob. 8-15, my other blog is for 14+), but anyone is welcome to read. In fact I encourage moms especially to read if their daughters do. 3. Just so you all know, there will be other thing like pictures, links, and videos at the bottom. (all will either be informative and moving, or wholesome fun). 4. If there is anything I post that it for older girls (or older people in general) I will specify.(but this will be rare) 5. If you like what you read please pass it on. 6. Enjoy!
Okay, so I think I should now have everything covered, blog, face book and email. I am taking a break from the internet and tv and movies and my Zune. I will do thing for the month of June and that would be tomorrow. I am looking forward to streaching myself to do this. So, I will not write for a while.
I am just an ordinary Girl who has been saved and Redeemed by my loving and Holy Savior. I seek to give Him glory in all I do; through writing, singing, acting, drawing, speaking etc.
I also want to mention my Family here, because I would not be who I am without my family. My Parents homeschooled my brother and me, so I could have the best education they could give me. I learned to Love God because of them. Thank you mom and Dad for raising me up to be who I am. I would like to thank my brother too, He is fun and makes me laugh, but he also has a heart to serve and protect.
We also have two cats who are fun loving and mischievous.
As a Family we also host exchange students and they are always an adventure, they bring new culture and life into our house while we present them to Jesus.
As a final note I just want to say as others before me have put it. I am just a traveler, going from this world to the next trying to do my best so when I reach that other place I will hear "Well done my good and faithful servant"
I am a christian, I am home-schooled, and I am a girl with a purpose. I want to bless, exhort, and encourage girls unto love and good works, and point them to Christ; just as many women have done for me. This world wants to deceive us and take us away from the straight and narrow path. The world wants us to find purpose and pleasure in things that will not last and will not bring true joy and fulfillment. However if we work together to stay on the path of righteousness our reward will joy that is everlasting, and a purpose that is pure and honorable. I have decided to walk this narrow path and I encourage to walk it with me. Walk with me in Purity, holiness, truth, and love. It will be hard, and we will come across challenges, but through the grace of God we will make it. So let us go as Christian and Christina did in pilgrims progress and walk the narrow road that leads to the Celestial City and our God who is waiting for us with open arms. Jesus died for me and He died for you, let Him be your savior and join me as I set out on the course set before me, till one day I see my savior face to face.
Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
Col 1:10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.
